I've written a hypothesis on what may cause ALS (Lou Gehrig Disease) in the sporadic form of the disease.

Funny wink happened. I recently saw an inspiring quote from Gandhi: "Whatever you do may seem insignificant, but it is important that you do it."

With my ALS research, it's not the easiest thing trying to have my ideas considered and can get very defeating, appearing pointless, but I do have encouragement in the form of a former Yankee and hero of mine named Lou Gehrig. 

Whenever I'm down or question if I should continue my research, a car in front of me has a license that says NYYANKS or GOYANKS.  I live in California, not NY!  I've never seen so many various Yank license plates come to my attention...and if I don't happen to see them, the car crosses in front of me or I park next to it.

Long story short on my varied repetitive Yank theme godwinks, I was having one of those days where I wanted to quit recently.....and looked up to the sky and said how about a wink....  that I should keep trying because this seems to be such a lost cause.  Not long after, I received your bulk email about the Yankees. 

Once again, like seeing you on the Today show that day, when I needed a wink.  There you were again....The man who represents "THE GODWINK" concept himself....  with a sense of humor from above...almost like saying, " Here, not only am I delivering the Yanks godwink to you, but I'm hand delivering it from SQuire to bring home the point not to quit...that this is a wink! 

Now, I never receive email from you, so [when I received the notice about your Godwink Story recently] that kind of stood out and out of all the subjects it was on...THE YANKEES!  Now granted, they're in the World series and everywhere now, but the Yankees have been a godwink symbol of encouragement for me personally for two years, ....it represents Lou Gehrig and brings me reassurance, I have someone on my team.  

Just thought you might get a kick out of the coincidence.
