I was having an especially difficult time one day dealing with the death of two dear friends that passed away within 11 months of each other.

I then had a GODWINK experience as I was coming out of the post office.

I noticed a particularly friendly, attractively dressed, small woman who had locked herself out of her car and was waiting for a locksmith. I struck up a conversation with her and immediately picked up a kindred spirit. She reminded me of my dear friend Joyce Duke Moore, who passed away on Aug. 16.

Well, as our conversation continued I found out that she and my dear lifelong friend Joyce Duke Moore shared the same stepmother!

I was truly taken by this because not only did she look like Joyce in hair, color, size, personality and manner of stylish dress, but she was also in real estate and a believer in God - the same as Joyce.

When I got home I called Joyce's mother to share my story with her. A quietness came over the phone, and she said, "Today is Joyce's birthday!"

It is awesome how God steps out of the woodwork in unusual ways within our lives to give us just what we need most, whether we know we need it or not. I know God is very real because he satisfies the desires of my heart and truly pulls me through all of the tight places.
