My husband always had some strange ideas or thoughts. As he got older and became more balding, he would always say he needed "Hair Grow". We would tell him that there was no such product called "Hair Grow".

Granted, there are products out there to promote hair growth, but even after researching online, we never found a product with that name. But my husband would swear he saw a TV commercial for "Hair Grow".

This argument went on for years and continued as he went through chemotherapy for cancer and lost what little hair he had left. We would humor him with his strange suggestions, but knew there was no "Hair Grow".

Unfortunately, my husband lost his battle with metastatic lung cancer on December 3, 2009. We miss him greatly and struggle though all the "firsts" without him. But we have been given a sign that he is still with us and watching over us.

In July, we had our 14th annual getaway with my husband’s side of the family to White Pines Inn in Mt. Morris, Illinois. During this trip, we were given a little sample bar of homemade pine soap made exclusively for the Inn, so we decided to check out the store that sold it to see what other kinds they had.

As we all sniffed and checked out the soaps, my daughter came upon this one lonely bar of soap on the shelf. She called me over to show me this soap called "Hair Grow".

Of course, we had to buy it! It will never get used. But it was such a wonderful sign to say; I'm here and watching over you. The fact that we were lead to that shop for the first time on the trip with my husband’s family was so special and comforting.

We miss you, Red. But we know, you and God are watching over us.
