My husband and I have been struggling with finances since my maternity leave. Now that I am back at work, none of my clothes seem to fit and I’ve been really struggling with feeling professional and “together” like my coworkers.

One night, I REALLY wanted to go shopping. Just get an outfit or two to feel better about myself. This stirred up quite the argument with my husband, with his argument obviously being the one of reason. “We can’t pay our MORTGAGE but you need pants??” Fine. Whatever. So I didn’t go.

The next morning, I fit myself into some pre-pregnancy pants and figured they would just make me “suck in” that day. However, when I went to find shoes I had NOTHING to go with the miraculous outfit I was able to pull out of my pit of a closet. UNTIL I started digging. At the bottom of a pile of worn out shoes that I wear every day, was a pair of brown slip-on dress shoes that I had NEVER seen before. Ever. I stared at them, thinking I’d remember where they came from. A friend? Random shopping spree last spring? Nothing.

Those shoes literally came from nowhere! Today, every time I look down, I get choked up. Those are my God’s Wink shoes. If we just BREATHE, he will provide. Even fashion!!!
