As a single mom, I struggle with many decisions, often at the same time. I feel that my life is at a crossroads and I ask God for his reassurance nearly every day.

Recently, a friend of mine purchased a used book and let me borrow it because she thought I would be interested in reading it. It was "When God Winks". I could hardly put it down; at the end of our work week, she asked for it back. I wasn't finished with it, but I reluctantly returned it and vowed I would find my own copy of "When God Winks".

That very weekend, a good friend/neighbor, who was moving, called to ask if I would come upstairs to visit her while she finished packing.

I looked down at an open box of books and could not believe my eyes. There was the book I vowed I would find again.

I remembered that in your opening paragraph, you wrote “if you are reading this book there is a reason.” I am overcome with emotion. What are the chances of a friend finding a book she wanted to share, asking me to return it before I had a chance to finish it, then a second friend has the book, and offers to let me read it.

Today, I opened up my email to read "Daily Guideposts Devotional and it is referencing your book, When God Winks. I am still not certain where God is leading me, but I felt the need to finally share the beginnings of my journey with you!
