My dad recently got new hearing aids that were paid for by the Veteran's Administration. Since they’re very good ones, he wanted my mother to have some like them, but they're also very expensive. So, he decided to sell one of his cars to pay for them. His grandson put the car up for sale on Craigslist and he immediately got a call. A young couple from a few hours away had had an accident and totaled their car. No one was hurt but their car was just like the one he was selling and they loved that car. So, they scheduled a time to come and see it.

When they came, they noticed the Ten Commandments sign in my parent's front yard, but didn't say anything. Then, when the man took the car for a drive he noticed that Dad had the radio tuned into a Christian station, so he knew they were Christians. When he got back and bought the car, he told him that they were Christians, too. The two men talked about what they did for a living and found out they were into similar work.

Dad is 85, now with bladder cancer, and needs to stop working, but he hasn't been able to find the right person to take over for him. This young man is perfect for the job and Dad will be training him! He is so happy to have found someone to do his work now that he can't. Oh and Mom loves her hearing aids.
